Melanie Stuckey is the founder and principal attorney of Stuckey Injury Law LLC, launching in January 2026 to serve injured clients throughout Denver and Colorado. With more than 25 years of experience in personal injury law, Melanie brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge to every case she handles.

Melanie’s journey in personal injury law began in 1999 as a paralegal, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of injury litigation—from initial client intake to trial preparation and settlement negotiations. For two decades, she worked behind the scenes on complex personal injury cases, gaining invaluable insights into what makes cases successful and how to best serve clients during their most difficult moments.

Driven by her passion for advocacy and her desire to do even more for injury victims, Melanie pursued her law degree while continuing to work full-time. She graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2020, becoming a licensed attorney after 25 years of hands-on paralegal experience. This unique path gives her a perspective few attorneys possess—she understands not only the legal strategy but also the detailed groundwork that builds winning cases.

Most recently, Melanie practiced at Donaldson Law, where she continued to refine her skills representing injured clients. With the retirement of Jennifer Donaldson and the closing of that firm at the end of 2025, Melanie is excited to open Stuckey Injury Law LLC, where she can continue her commitment to providing personalized, compassionate representation to those who have been seriously injured.

Melanie’s approach to personal injury law is grounded in empathy and attention to detail. She understands that her clients are facing physical pain, emotional stress, and financial uncertainty. Her goal is to shoulder the legal burden so clients can focus on healing. Every client receives her personal attention, and she ensures they understand each step of the legal process. Whether negotiating with insurance companies or preparing for trial, Melanie fights tirelessly to secure the compensation her clients deserve.

Outside the office, Melanie cherishes time with her son and extended family. She is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring both domestic and international destinations, experiences that have broadened her worldview and deepened her appreciation for different perspectives – qualities that serve her well in understanding and representing diverse clients.
